Step 1. Choose the app that you want to prevent from sending notifications on your phone.

Hide App Notifications from Lock Screen

In some cases, you may don’t want to completely disable notifications from an app but from the lock screen. Well, in that case, you can simply do that by following the below steps.

Step 1. Go to the app info of the particular app that you want to hide notification from the lock screen.

Step 2. Click on the Notifications tab.

Step 3. Enable the “Hide on lock screen” option.

This will hide the notifications from the app during the lock screen but will appear just after you unlock the screen.

Enable “Do Not Disturb” Mode

Any latest Android operating system now comes with a feature called Do Not Disturb. It basically helps to prevent all kinds of notifications including messages, banner notification, calls, and more. It is usually built for avoiding the distraction from phone notification sounds during meetings.

Step 1. Unlock your phone screen lock.

Step 2. Pull out the notification drawer.

Step 3. Activate the Do Not Disturb using the shortcut.

Step 5. Under the Device section, click on Sounds and notifications.

Step 6. Turn on the Do not disturb mode.
